Government to seek court guidance on asylum ruling, introduce registration system
The Government will seek court guidance on implementing an asylum ruling and introduce a structured registration and appointment system by 10 November 2026. The Constitutional Court ruled that provisions of the Refugees Act allowing deportation of asylum seekers without transit visas were unconstitutional.
