High Wind Warning issued October 14 at 10:22AM MST until October 16 at 11:00PM MST by NWS Tucson AZ

The NWS forecast east winds of 35–45 mph with gusts of 55–70 mph under a High Wind Warning across multiple areas of southern Arizona, followed by a Wind Advisory. The warning period is listed as 11 PM Thursday to 11 PM MST Friday; additional details beyond the supplied excerpt were not included in the source data received by Planet Briefing.

For whatever reason the good storms have been avoiding the Tucson area this year, depriving me of the opportunity to get good lightning shots! This is about the best that I've got so far, the storm was about 14-15 miles east of us. Really lighting up but the lightning was pretty much all cloud to cloud. With any luck and a sacrifice to the weather gods I'll hopefully be able to come up with something a bit better! BTW, the light spots up above the clouds are not hot pixels but stars!
