Home Affairs extends operational hours

South Africa’s Department of Home Affairs will extend hours at all front offices from 2–4 November 2026, including 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Election Day. The service is intended to help eligible voters collect or apply for identity documents and Temporary Identity Certificates.
