Reported by SAnews South African News

Maruleng to get new police station The Deputy Minister of Police, Cassel Mathale, will today preside over a sod-turning ceremony ahead of the construction of the Maruleng Police Station in the Mopani District in Limpopo. “The construction of a fully-fledged police station signifies the South African Police Service’s (SAPS) ongoing efforts to invest in community safety and policing infrastructure. The ceremony further illustrates SAPS’s commitment to bringing frontline service delivery closer to the communities it serves and protects with dignity,” the police said ahead of Friday's ceremony. The Deputy Minister will be joined by the Acting Deputy National Commissioner of the South African Police Service (SAPS) for Support Services, Lieutenant General, Dr Bongiwe Zulu.
