Singh to brief media on COP17

South Africa’s Deputy Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, Narend Singh, is scheduled to brief media on South Africa’s COP17 participation and negotiating priorities on 12 October. COP17 is scheduled for 19–30 October 2026 in Yerevan, Armenia, and will conduct the first global review of progress on the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
