Special Marine Warning issued October 10 at 6:48AM EDT until October 10 at 8:45AM EDT by NWS Charleston SC
The National Weather Service in Charleston warned of a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts and wind gusts up to 34 knots in coastal waters from South Santee River to Edisto Beach, South Carolina. Boaters were instructed to move to safe harbor until the hazardous weather passed.
