TfL works road disruption — [A12] BLACKWALL TUNNEL NORTHERN APPROACH (E14 ,E15 ,E3 ) (Tower Hamlets)

TfL works are scheduled to close lanes one and two on the northbound approach and then the northbound exit slip road at Bow Road from 23:00 UTC on 5 October to 04:00 UTC on 6 October 2026. The latest update says traffic is moving well.

A12 Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach in Bow Looking in the direction of the tunnel with the Bow Flyover visible in the distance under the gantry, this used to be (and to be honest I thought it still was!) the A102 road through the tunnel between Charlton and Clapton with a short section of motorway, the A102(M) at either end. The road lost its motorway status when the Greater London Authority was created and took over its management.
